Outreach to vulnerable and low income seniors and persons with disabilities with referrals to wrap-around services and Chicago Department on Aging

Team Work Makes The Dream Work
The Wright Way Association was founded by Dorothy Wright, Damaris Wright and David Williams, and became a registered Non-Profit charitable organization in 2019. Prior to this; Our Outreach services mostly involved seniors and persons with disabilities, and were being rendered in the Chicago area voluntarily by request from local churches, families and friends. Due to the tremendous need for services, we became a full-time charitable non-profit organization
Offering a better quality of life with:
Youth reading and sports programs ages 5-15
Literacy program providing books, arts and crafts
Improving reading scores
Sports programs involving Chicago Park Districts
Addiction prevention education
Outreach to low income seniors and vulnerable persons with disabilities
EVENTS:
8/17/24- Book bag and school supply give away event in North Lawndale
100 book bags given out, Thanks to our volunteers and our team for making it a success. Thank you Father Todd, St. Agatha Catholic Church for your help. Thank you Congressman, Danny Davis for attending. Thanks to Pete's on Western for the food donation.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Community outreach with Narcan distribution and training

December 2022: One Warm Coat and Cisco Company donated over 120 coats, jackets, sweaters, for adults and kids. We will be distributing throughout the winter.

We gave out 120+ Book bags with supplies! We fed 160 neighbors and the DJ rocked the block with dancing in the street. Raffle winners every 30 minutes won Target gift card, ladies purse, baby items and more.
Through Your support of Wright Way Association, we can meet our goals and provide services needed to assist youth into becoming responsible and successful adults. While we continue to provide services to low income seniors and persons with disabilities.
